Do bad habits follow you to higher limits?
I have been playing Hold'em in B&M casinos for the past two years. I started out playing 2/4 and eventually moved up to 3/6. Sometimes when cards are running bad, I find myself playing way too many hands, like all of the sudden I don't respect the amount of the bets anymore.
Do you think it's time to move up to 5/10 where I'll respect the amount of money on the table more? |

Re: Do bad habits follow you to higher limits?
I've seen very little difference in the skill level of B&M players from 2/4-4/8. 5/10 might be a little different because the chip structure might not attract as many "action players" (unless it's played with $1 or $2.50 chips). If you really don't care about the amount of the wager, you could try moving up a little, but I suspect you'll quickly become used to whatever limits you're playing (within reason) and you'll have the same problem again. Self-control is the real solution.
