Buying in Short in Mid/High NL Games
Quick question for large game regulars.
Is there any advantage to buying short, say for an amount like $500 into a 5/10NL game where the average stack is 3K. If you play tight would this be a good strategy or is it better to buy in for the table average or table maximum? |

Re: Buying in Short in Mid/High NL Games
IMO you want to find a loose/gambling game and be able to get all in on the flop for around a potsized raise of a CB. if the standard open here is say 50 and usually multiway 3/4/5 handed then 1k sounds good to start with. Big stacks wont give you any respect but you can get all in with the best of it. Might not be too popular though
