The address bar that should show up on the top of this page isn't there. Normally if I wanted to go here I'd type in www.twoplustwo.com , for example. Well I can't type anything in because that "space" is no longer there. What can I do?
I was deleting some registry files and may have got carried away at some point. Since I probably shouldn't have done that I can't tell you what I deleted, but it was probably mostly porn related .... I also checked temporary internet files and deleted some things but that shouldn't affect anything right? I checked the files that came w/ dell and I can't find an internet explorer file. Can I redownload IE someplace? Will that solve the problem? Thanks in advance |

From the menu bar, View > Toolbars > Address Bar
Make sure it is checked |

Between the menu bar and the main browser window are the toolbars. Do you see anything there marked "Address"? You may have it minimized.
Again, in the View menu make sure that Toolbars > Lock the Toolbars is unchecked and then increase the area for Address by sliding the border to the right |
