The 3-bet is correct IMO... if it was a misclick it shouldn't have been.
I like the hand after that. |

Re: TT vs UTG raise to give up on the river.
I check/call the turn/river against an unknown.
He will likely bluff at the turn with a 4-flush. If you check-call the turn then he will fire again on a non-heart river because your play will look like a busted flush draw. This is very profitable for you because you are getting him to make 2 mistakes with a worse hand. If he's on air then he is stabbing at the turn and river for the same reasons. On the flip side, your turn bet allows your opponent to make the following good decisions: 1) Call with a draw that they can fold on the river. 2) Raise with trips. 3) Raise a flush. 4) Fold a crap hand. |

Checking is bad. I want him to raise hands I am ahead of. And free cards suck.

I think this is a value-check opportunity and not a value-bet opportunity. I'm curious as to what other posters say because I think this is pretty interesting. |

If he has two overcards without the heart, QJ, AJ, AQ (not very likely because of the non preflop cap), then he has 4 outs against us. Plenty of the time he will bet when he is behind, but would have folded to a bet. Also, as I said earlier, getting raised sucks when he has a king. |

Re: TT vs UTG raise to give up on the river.
I think a decent or passive opponent won't bet his flushdraw on the turn when checked to, especially when he knows ur aggro (a c/r is possible)
So in most cases I think bet>check, since he's more often on a fd than he has a K and might semibluff a worse hand |

Also with checking you give a freecard to a FD. |
