pokersource java wrapper
hi,
I'm sure some of you here are familiar with pokersource on sourceforge.net. I succesfully compiled the project but I'm poor in C. Java is much more easy for me. I found in the CVS a Java wrapper that use the JNI. But I'm not able to compile the sources, and afaik the JAVA wrapper was actually removed due to licenses problems. I wonder if the poker_eval 1.28 is "compatible" with this Java wrapper. Does someone here have either a compiled version of it or hints to make it work ? thanks for your help |

Re: pokersource java wrapper
This isn't going to be useful, but I figured I'd chime in and say that I didn't get this to work either. And after a few days of working on it, I gave up. And I consider myself to be pretty good with C. I appreciate that there's a lot of good code in pokersource, but it is really...ummm... for lack of a better word, mangled, in the sense that a bunch of the functionality is actually implemented in preprocessor macros which becomes an issue when trying to make bindings to languages that dont know about such things.
Oh well... Ian |
