Hachem really missed out
He would have gotten a big promotion contract if he had won his seat online instead of buying in directly.

In an interview he wrote that he mostly played on PokerStars, they may be trying to finagle the situation so that he can sponsor them.

Re: Hachem really missed out
What gives you the idea that you have to win a seat online to score an endorsement contract with an online poker website? Both Josh Arieh and David Williams have sponsorship deals with Bodog, and, as far as I know, neither were associated with the website when they made their high-profile scores. If anything, being a free agent is probably advantageous to Hachem.
Personally, I wouldn't have too much interest in endorsing an online poker site if I had just won 7.5M, anyway. |

He can't appear in a commercial saying he tweaks his game playing on their play money site and you should too. How many commmercials have you seen Varkonyi or Furlong in? |

[ QUOTE ] Yeh, but it is not as strong an endorsement if he didn't win his seat on that site. [/ QUOTE ] why is this? [/ QUOTE ] Not as strong for the site, why should Hachem guve a [censored] about how strong the message is? All he should care about is how much the site is willing to pay him.l And anyways the 7.5 million makes your point moot, hachem got it good. |
