Re: standard flop play?
Yup, good raise. We will not often have the best hand, but when we do it's necessary to do what we can to increase our chances of winning in this very large pot.
The turn is where it's going to get sticky but you've given yourself alot of options. What turn cards are you betting, joker? Surf |

Re: standard flop play?
I'm confused why this is a standard play and why it increases our chances of winning. Why not just call?

Re: standard flop play?
I'd say to knock out SB and to be able to take a free river/showdown if u like.

This is a large-ish pot but not super-large. If we're ahead, it's not by much. We could easily get 3-bet. And the turn card will bring us some information. This is the converse of a hand I posted about yesterday, when in doubt I tend to make small errors in the direction of my suitedness. |

[ QUOTE ] What turn cards are you betting, joker? Surf [/ QUOTE ] i was thinking any turn except an ace? [/ QUOTE ] A K puts us behind AK, AQ, and TT+. There are 16 combos each of AK + AQ that we are ahead of on the flop. How many more hands do you think he is raising here that we remain ahead of on the turn when a K hits? Surf |

Re: standard flop play?
If I'm the button and it's folded to me I allways raise with Q10s&o. Bad play?
