do i play to passive? i think i play too passive.
pacific poker micro limits, very fishy.
i get dealt AKo from a position which will be last position post flop. some guy doubles the BB, and i don't want to double it again, because he's already pushed some players out. unfortunatly, we have 3 other players seeing the flop, which doesn't hit me. it's checked around. turn comes a king theres a bet, a re-raise a call, and a big re-raise from me, which is unfortunatly called by all players. the river pairs the board, with a card on the flop, and this is the only scary thing out there, although anyone with 45 has a straight. it's checked around, and i reluctantly check it, even though i know i should have bet here. should i have bet here? there were three others in the hand, and it occours to me they MIGHT be check raising me on the river. i think i play too passivly, and im sure you'll agree with me. |

Here's what I gather from your thread:
You have AK. Some stuff happened pre-flop. Flop is checked around. Some more stuff happened on the turn. River is checked around. Details are your friend. What actually happened in this hand? |

Re: do i play to passive? i think i play too passive.
anytime your big checkraise gets called in multiple spots, it's safe to assume that top pair is not necessarily good.
That being said, that board pairing on the river might counterfeit someone elses two pair. I'd probably check as well. |
