UTG is loose and passive
CO is a little tighter but generally passive post flop Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks. I probably should have raised PF here, you think? Flop: (5 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, CO calls, Hero calls, SB calls, BB folds. I didn't want to inflate the pot here. Depending on the turn I was planning to call or raise. Turn: (4.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, UTG bets, CO raises, Hero... Holy crap! I hit the best card for my hand and now I got two passive players betting in to me. So what do I do? |

Raise preflop. I'd probably cry on the turn and do something at random, either fold, call, or raise and have no idea why.

raise the turn, you've done nothing to show strength. I'm raised this PF. Continue your plan and 3bet the turn. If you were the aggressor and this happend...I'd still 3 bet.

Hi,
Since when did Ace-rag-suited become a raising hand? There are very few flops that you like and loose passive players aren't going any where with any piece of the board and Ace-Rag isn't a showdown hand. Don't raise preflop. Raising the flop is marginal as it can't protect your hand. If CO is as loose as you say, 3 betting here is right. Its usually a much worse two pair. You've probably should pay off a cap and a river bet, unless one of the other players wakes up on the river. Later, MarkV. |

Itīs not a PF-raise for me and I would 3bet the turn.
