Hello! Two hypothetical no limit stud games..Hmmm
GAME1
It's heads-up on the river and the pot is 75K. Player1 bets 500K. The vibratory motion of his chest is quite noticable. ********************8 GAME2 PLAYER2 bets 75K into a 500K pot. One can hardly notice any movement from this player. Again it's heads-up on the river. Which player would u be most likely to call? Which would u probably NOT call down? Assume that in both cases u have a fairly good hand, but NOT strong. Explain ur answer. SittingBull |

Re: Hello! Two hypothetical no limit stud games..Hmmm
I think I'd call hand 2 more often. Good pot odds beat out any "tell".

i don't understand why this is in the stud forum.

Tells are great and all, but are not everything.. Good players are known to give "fake tells" all the time.

Hello,Frap! Assume the players are not using \"reverse tells\"
or "fake tells". What would U do then?

Re: Hello,Frap! Assume the players are not using \"reverse tells\"
I'd probably fold in both spots. The pot is too small compared to the bet size.
