Re: Can you believe this fold?
I once won 450 in blinds with a push of 310 chips. Love when people click the check/fold button.

Re: Can you believe this fold?
Don't have the hand history here, but in an S&G on Full Tilt two nights ago there was one like that. I was the short stack with about 350 chips, on the bubble 20 minutes in. There was a "battle of the blinds", and on the turn the SB checked, BB bet 350, SB(who had 1950 left) raised to 1875. BB called. River was a total blank, SB checked, BB bet, SB folded.

Re: Can you believe this fold?
[ QUOTE ]
I can top it. In fact, mine's not even in the same galaxy... [/ QUOTE ] Your hand has a 0% chance of winning, essentially, but a naked A probably has a nontrivial chance of splitting the pot, which is pretty attractive for 10 chips. On the other hand, the big stacks might want to keep shorty breathing for ease of stealing from medium stacks, and perhaps there are image concerns as well about showing down a dog of a hand here. So I understand some of these folds, but it does seem surprising to me that some of the shorter stacks, say, don't throw chips at this. Were they afraid of action behind them? |
