Am I crazy: higher limits on Pacific=no better play?
Ok, I've done some whining on this forum: I get disconnected on Pacific Poker about as often as JLo get remarried. But in all fairness Pacific has been very good to me: I've more than doubled my money since taking advantage of their "Happy Hour" bonus 2 weeks ago. The players at Pacific HAVE to be the worst on the Net. So here's my question: Would you agree with me that the players at 5/10 are no better than at .25/.50? I've mostly been a bottom feeder as I build my bankroll, usually playing at .50/1 at most sites. But as I've made money playing off this bonus, I've moved up to 5/10, and these players are no better! Can I expect this on other sites as well? Or do I need to double-up on my medication?

Re: Am I crazy: higher limits on Pacific=no better play?
This seems to be a common phenomenon at Pacific Poker. They are connected to the casino giant Casino on Net so they get a lot of traffic coming in through there. Those players are just absolutely horrid. You'll see this effect at some other sites occasionally such as Party Poker. Many times you can find a very loose 3/6 all the way up to 15/30 table, and sometimes you'll find a really tight .50/1 table. You never really know...Go ahead and double up on the meds too.

Re: Am I crazy: higher limits on Pacific=no better play?
Thanks for the info. This is my first foray above the micro limits, and I was shocked to see the same kind of play at 5/10 (calling with anything, chasing to the river with garbage, etc.). I'll give the higher limits on sites such as Paradise a try too. And get more meds...
