Default QUESTION FOR MASON MALMUTH..........

Mason....here in Gardena a couple of cardrooms spread low limit Hold Em games that have only one blind. Other rooms such as Hollywood Park have three blinds...big, small and a button blind. Could you please tell me...if both games have identical players.....which game is more "beatable" or profitable in the long run....one blind or three? The difference in blind structure has to have an effect....no? Thank you for your input!

What do you think the effect is? Think about how the different structures might change the game. And, uh, read Theory of Poker.

The 3-blind game has more money in each pot before the flop AND you are paying more from your stack to see each complete round.

You're going to have to loosen up in the 3-blind game vs. the 1-blind game assuming they have the same style AND number of players, ay? Not only is it worth it to play more hands (cuz more $ in each pot to vie for), but it also directly COSTS you more money NOT to.

I think that's at least one thing to consider.
