Default 8 tables: Party and Empire from the same computer?

Lets say i have a 30" LCD monitor (2048x1536 resolution) and want to do 4 tables of NL at Party and 4 tables of $2/4 at Empire.

Will either PArty or Empire have a problem w/me doing that?

Who cares if your opponents mind? I'm not trying to make friends playing online poker. If you can handle this additional action, go for it.

I think most of us who multitable play a pretty standard game. It's mostly folding the crap and raising the awesome hands, so playing 8 tables isn't that much harder than playing 4. I've never taken more than 5 seconds to make a decision so it's pretty easy to multitable. It's just hitting fold a lot more.

I read some review of a 42" or 45" LCD about two weeks ago. That would be an awesome gaming monitor for only $11,000.

First . . . I use 3 ViewSonic VP211b 21.3" flat screens rather than 1 large monitor. I think the model just got discontinued so you should be able to pick them up for around $1100 each now. Much better value and a lot more screen real estate than 1 huge monitor.

2nd . . . I found after playing more than 4 tables that my win rate dropped off rather significantly because I simply did not have time to make use of the extensive notes I have on thousands of players.

In my case . . . at the Party 15/30 games, my average win per hand went up from .66 to $1.02 when I dropped back to 3-4 games. Therefore, the 1 or 2 extra games were actually costing me $$.

you cvan splurge for the super-monitor...or you can just get a 2nd monitor.

i've played 8 tables before....but usually only play 4-6 tables while also surfing 2+2 or checking e-mail etc.

oftentimes its 4 ring-tables on the main monitor and a cheap MTT or freeroll or 2 just for fun mostly.
although i finally qualified for round-2 of the paradise-WPT paris thing....took me way too many tries.

That's what I usually do, 4 tables on party, 4 tables on intertops.
