Preflop question
Argh. EP raise, 3 cold callers to you on the button with AQ. What's your action? Is it close? Your opponents are loose, but not ridiculous. This is an unusual pot.
Thanks, Eric (I pondered and folded. Naturally, the flop came Q high, and the EP raiser won with KQs). |

Re: Preflop question
AQs or AQo? AQs I call since it plays well multiway, AQo I muck.

[ QUOTE ]
Your opponents are loose, but not ridiculous. [/ QUOTE ] Loose callers/limpers or loose EP preflop raisers? If it's suited, im playing it. Likely for a raise. Offsuit? I take the question above. Along with do they cold call alot? If so, what type of hands? Any 2 suited? Any A? High cards? Im either reraising or folding. If the EP raiser is a little tighter raiser, and/or if the coldcallers, only need 1 or 2, coldcall tight hands, I lean toward the muck. If they are unknowns, i muck since i will likely see a showdown and gain info. A little player knowledge goes a long way. Though some will disagree and say im too tight. Oh, and the results of the hand and what could've been dont matter. However, the info of what they played does. b |
