Default 30 left in local card room tournament

Here's the situation. Blinds are 200/400 with about 30 people left. Top 10 get paid. I'm second short stack at the table with 1400. After posting SB, I have 1200 chips left. 45os is dealt to me and everyone folds around to me. BB has an average stack for the table. What's my move?

This is a tough one. It Depends on the type of player he is. If he is tight I might call an all-in. I don't know the math on this one, but even if you go all-in and get called, unless he has a higher pair, it is still almost a coin flip.

I would fold because you still have quite a few hands before deperation sets in. But I wouldn't blame you if you tried to steal the blinds.

I tried to make a move and pushed all-in. The guy was fairly tight from what I had observered at the table through one orbit. He thought for a LONG time and called. He showed Q10. The board helped neither of us and I was gone.
