I've read a lot here about all sorts of different games and their strategies...
I have two questions, one very simple: 1. What are ring games? Are they just one table games? One table tournaments? Or am I way off? Cash games? 2. What is the most profitable type of game? In other words, what game can produce the most BB/hour for a pretty good player, and what are these BB/hour amounts? Maybe somebody can post what they think is pretty good for each type of game... Thanks. |

What are ring games? [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] ring game (n phrase) 1. A game with several players (generally seven or more), as opposed to a short game. The term often refers to a completely full game. 2. Any nontournament game. [/ QUOTE ] link |

Ring games are usually synonomous with any kind of cash game.
In terms of most profitable games, its all relative. If you're with a bunch of world-class players, breaking even would probably be a difficult goal. Against complete idiots, any number of BB/100 is possible. |

NL is the most profitable per hour for a good player. Its also a game where slightly less than average players will loose money very quickly. I play limit, cuz the swings arent as intense.
