Default How bad is a call with A6s in the BB?

Ive got A6s in the BB in a 10 handed game.

Default Your call with A6s in the BB for one more bet is perfectly fine...

Being suited is the key as it's very powerful to flop the nut flush or nut flush draw. You should be prepared to call one more bet with A-anything suited. If it's not suited, then the kicker should be quite high (10 or higher?) depending on who raised, where and if it was an open-raise.

That was my reasoning too that hand will generate the nut flush. But HFAP rates this as a kat 5 hand and that it is to weak to play in this spot. Is this due to the fact that if my pair my ace it is likely to be dominated and if i make the flush i will not get any value for it since it is kinda obvious what i got?

There are two LP-callers before him, so he's not stealing.

I'm calling, especially in a typical loose online game.

Trash, getting 7-1 out of position IF you close the bettin which you dont in this case. your 12-1 to make a flush, ace rag dont know where I'm at. etc etc ...junk. I love profiting on loose callers in the blinds. I rarely call in this spot for any less than 11:1.

This so far seems to be the prevailing sentiment, but I can't agree. I think it's an auto-call unless you are against extremely tough opponents (like when do 2 very tough players both open-limp in late position, heh?). In a typical loose online game you can call this with your eyes closed, in my opinion. Of course you should be able to play well on the flop and beyond.

If the first limper is likely limp-reraising, I would fold. Also, if you can never get off an ace on board, no matter the action, you should also fold. But if you can play it well, it should be a profitable call.

Did everyone here suddenly go insane? Basically 7.5-1 if this is a 1/2 blind structure game, with a suited ace this is plenty. If two people limp and you're on the button with this hand, do you muck because your odds are only 3.5-1?

You don't need a flush draw here to continue, top pair will make you money, despite being dominated some of the time.
