Default QQ vs. Ugly Board

My big question here is if I should check the turn, and why or why not. Feel free to rip me you feel I did something else goofy. Results later.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises</font>, Button calls, SB folds, BB folds, MP3 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(3 players) </font>
MP3 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button folds, MP3 calls.

I would say if your opponent is the tricky type, check behind on the turn and call a river bet. If he is a straightforward calling station, I'd bet the turn and maybe flip a coin on whether or not to bet the river.
