Ace on flop? Ace on Turn? Ace on River?......Odds when 10 play
What are the odds with ten players for an ace on the flop? Odds on the turn? Odds on the river? Thanks.

Re: Ace on flop? Ace on Turn? Ace on River?......Odds when 10 play
The question is incomplete.
First, the number of playes is irrelevant. Second, it all depends on if you have one or more aces in your hand. The odds to get one and only one ace on the flop, if you hold none, are: 4/50+4/49+4/48=24.5% = 75.5 to 24.5 = slightly better than 3 to 1 against. If you hold one ace: 3/50+3/49+3/48 = 81.6 to 18.4 = slightly less than 4.5 to 1 against. If you hold two aces: 2/50+2/49+2/48 = 87.8 to 12.2 = Slightly better than 7 to 1 against. To catch an ace on the turn when you hold: Zero Aces: 10.8 to 1 Against One Ace: 14.7 to 1 against Two Aces: 22.5 to 1 against To catch an ace on the River when you hold: Zero Aces: 10.5 to 1 Against One Ace: 14.3 to 1 against Two Aces: 22.0 to 1 against Spyder PS If my math is wrong, would one of you statistical geniuses please correct me |
