The flop call is marginal at best. But with the backdoor flush draw I could see the argument for making it.
Fold the turn without a second thought. |

This is one of those hands that looks bad at first, but I think you played it well on every street. With 8 people seeing the flop, you're definitely right to call the flop with only 2 people to act behind you.
I think the turn is the most questionable street. Your trey outs are probably good, and so are your 5 outs. You are also not last to act. I still think I call. River is better than check-raising, since you have no idea what MP3 could have. |

I definitely have 4 outs. I have to figure my 3's are normally good and maybe a deuce would give me winner sometimes.
I don't like not closing the action though. |

If you give yourself 6 outs (the twp other 3s and the 5s), you're a little worse than 6.5-1 to hit. You're getting 8.5-1 on your call with two people to act behind you. With the ace hitting you have to consider the possibility it could still be raised behind you, add in the fact there will be times when you hit you're 3 and get out kicked or the 5c hits and someone hit the flush, I don't think its a +EV call.

I would have check-raised the river.

Me too. Whenever I am ahead, and a card like a three comes off on the river, I think, 'Well, that can't hurt me', and bet and call a raise. When I catch a card like that, I want two bets just like I give my opponents . Good luck, play well, Bob T. |

I can swing with that. I always get worried about a check through on the river when I make an ok hand.

The reason I don't like a check-raise in thsi situation is because you are clueless as to what your opponent could have. If he's got you beat, it'll cost 3 bets. If not, he might check it through. Sometimes, he might even fold to a river check-raise.
