Weekly multi-table tourneys in Vegas?
I will be in Las Vegas April 3-4 and am wondering if anyone has played in any of these tourneys or could recommend some tourneys with a buy-in of $50 or less. I am also interested in any info you might have on the single table satellites for the Mirage tourneys. Thanks!

Re: Weekly multi-table tourneys in Vegas?
Hi WB--
Your post may get a better response in the B&M or News, Views, and Gossip forum, which is where most of the live game/tourney trip reports are posted. FYI. I have played a few events at the Orleans, though never on Saturday or Sunday. My friend really liked the Sunday noon NLHE there last year. Special note: as of this Saturday, 3/27, they are replacing the Saturday night 7pm stud/8 tournament with a big NLHE tourney - $122 buy-in/$100 rebuy. All of their events are well-run and get cards in the air roughly on time. My advice: arrive 90 minutes before the start time to get a seat when they open registration, or better yet, be playing in a live game at that time and they'll come around to the tables before opening registration to walk ups. Limit events should have about 120 starters, NL up to 220. Can't comment on the non-Orleans tourneys. Good luck! |
