Button in this hand has been playing every hand, and basically running over the table.

In a big downswing atm, afraid I am playing a little weak after a combination of bad beats, and horrible playing on my part.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, MP raises, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Button raises, Hero calls, MP calls.

I'm pretty sure I am ahead here on the flop, and I don't want to scare the MP out of the hand just yet, or should I?

Turn: (6.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, Button bets, Hero raises, MP folds, Button calls.

Now that the board pairs, I find it highly unlikely the MP is going to stay in the hand anymore with just overcards.

River: (10.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Final Pot: 12.25 BB

Results in white below: 
Hero shows Jh Ac (three of a kind, jacks).
Button doesn't show.
Outcome: Hero wins 12.25 BB.

Button had Tc, 9d:

I would have 3 bet the flop.

3 bet the flop

its not every hand you hit top pair and nut flush buy in the flop - i think its close to betting out the flop or check raising - i guess i check raise the most because someone is going to bet behind me on that flop

i think what you did is ok but it looks a bit wussy and its too dangerous for my liking - its handy that another J turned - how do you feel not 3 betting the flop when a red K hits and the MP bets out ? - it would be a disaster for your plan if the turn was checked through and i think that is a real possibility
