NETELLER refusal

Tried signing up for Neteller and got the below message. Has anyone else been denied an account that lives in Maryland or any other State?

Neteller is an international money transfer service and at the present time has chosen not to transfer funds from certain jurisdictions, including Maryland. Therefore, we are unable to complete your registration at this time.

I have heard of a similar story from another person from Maryland, but he didn't get any better information than you did. I'm not quite sure what it is about MD that's got them spooked. Maybe they have laws on the books that clearly prohibit online poker or gambling?
