Default Hand analysis oddity

I was doing some hand analysis on twodimes. I'll let the results speak for themselves:

Board kc 9s 7s 4s
Hands ah ad, 9c 9d, 5s 6s

What we have here is dead aces, and trip 9s trying to suckout on a made flush.

EV as follows:

ah ad 0.000 (OUCH)
9c 9d 0.238
6s 5s 0.762

But, lets give the Aces a break and say he flopped a set.

board ac 9s 7s 4s
hands the same as above (aces, nines and the suited connectors)

EV:

AA 0.167
99 0.024
56s 0.810

How does this add value to the baby flush?
There's now another chance for the opponents to suckout isn't there?

What am I not seeing?

the pocket aces cannibalized two fullhouse/quad outs. scenarion 1, 99 had 10 outs. Scenario 2, AA had 7 outs and 99 had 1 out, for a total of 8 outs

The board is less likely to pair up now, because there is only one ace out there, as opposed to 3 kings.

because there is less outs for the sets to hit since they have some of eachothers outs. so the fewer outs against the flush, the better overall for it.

in example 1, the set of 9s has 10 clean outs. 10 outs to beat the flush. in ex. 2...there's only 8 outs to beat the flush.

Ahhh - of course.

Thanks. I feel a little foolish, but it makes sense now.

And this is an oddity to you ???
It is a no brainer....
Your first example puts up a "made flush" after the turn card and shows that AA is no good....no pair is good at that time. A set will not beat a flush....??? EVER !! You only have 2 outs and their dead no matter what pair you hold! You have only a 4.34% chance of hiting your set and it is dead anyway. 99 has (10) outs and 21.73 % chance with only one card to come and sure if you hit it you will win! But it does not make AA look bad....you put it up against a made hand that could not ever be beat.........

It is not odd if you put any hand against a made hand and it is drawing dead....

Give me AA every time over 56s..............

Maybe you should read the question before you spout your nonsense.

He wasn't asking why the AA was drawing dead in the first hand. He was asking why changing the board card from a K to an A changes the value of the made flush

But at least you're consistent...
