Golden Nugget to open Poker Room?

In an article in today's LVRJ(1/24), new Golden Nugget owners state that poker will be in their future plans. Have any of the LV locals heard any more regarding this?

Yep, I've heard the same thing, since about October 2003.

I wish they would open one up at the GN in Laughlin. They could be the "Bellagio" of Laughlin. But they have no space [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

The only mention I saw in the LVRJ 1/24 edition was a snippet at the end of this article that said the new Golden Nuggett owners "told Nevada gaming regulators that poker has a big role in their plans".

Pretty vague.

Was there another article that I missed?
