5-10 at true; on the other side of a bluff
I am UTG; it's my last hand of the night
I get pocket J's, I raise two cold callers; sb flods bid blind calls flop is KQJ two clubs. I bet raised in late position, BB calls two cold; I three bet, both call. Turn is a blank non club; bb checks; I bet call in LP; BB checkraises; I three bet and we lose the LP. BB Calls. River is a Q pairing the board and giving me the full. BB bets; I raise, BB three bets and a little tilty I cap. BB calls. I know I can't fold the fh, but should I have played it so agressively on turn and river. I win, but can you guess what BB had. Results below he had 10-7 of hearts. No flush draw was ever on the board. |

You should be ramming and jamming. Odds are good the flop touched someone and you're going to make a bundle off them. The river would have me standing on the table with a 3-foot snow shovel.

Re: 5-10 at true; on the other side of a bluff
You had a good hand but that is a pretty dangerous full house. KQ and QJ are not all that unlikely. Even KK is possible but I think you'd have known if he was holding a giant like that. Seeing as he was in the big blid, there's a pretty good chance he's playing any two decent cards (of course, it turned out his cards sucked). I wouldn't be too worried, here. I'd have kept pumping the pot because most times in this situation I am probably way ahead.
By the way, I would have figured him for something like KJ, not 10-7. I mean, 10-7? Come on. SpaceAce |
