Finsihed off the trap too early?
Paradise 10/1 sit&go
THe quality of play here is a lot better than party, but the dead money has been working the early rounds and we have lost one when he went in with JTs on a nothing flop versus QQ. Blinds are 15/30 My stack is T-1115 4th in chips at the time I have 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the SB and plan to make a sizable reraise on anyone who bets and see what happens. 3 EP limpers, then an all in raiser to T57, LP calls, Button folds, and I decide to take on a new plan, just call, BB checks, limpers call. 7 to the flop T399 Flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Suddenly I like my new plan. I check, BB checks, EP1(T980) raises T100, EP2(T1692) calls, folds back to me and I smooth call, BB folds Pot T799 Turn a very nice 2 but a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I check, EP1 bets (T250), EP2 cold calls, and thinking this pot is big enough and wanting to stop any turned draws I pushed in. |

Re: Finsihed off the trap too early?
You only sprung the trap too early if you _enjoy_ losing to rivered straights and flushes...
You made enough money with your set. Go all-in and kill the drawing odds for everything except Ts8s or 8s6s... Big John |

Well as mentioned I finished off the trap, and EP called. The next player took almost his full timer finally typed AK and folded.
EP turns up A7 he has exactly 1 out. Would you believe the River was the case A ahh oh well. I'm out 2 hands later when I take my last 100 chips all in with AKo. IGHN |
