Correct to fold Axs pre flop
I am in MP and have As 6s.UTG limps,UTG+1 raises, folded to me ,i folded. This is correct right? If the other had called before me would it be right to call as there is more money in the pot?

You should always fold A6s for two bets cold. |

Easy fold. Even if the player before you calls, this is an easy muck for two bets cold in MP.

Re: Correct to fold Axs pre flop
Good fold, whether there are more callers or not. Your hand would be dominated by any bigger ace, and that is one of the hands that the raiser might hold.

Re: Correct to fold Axs pre flop
Yes, the only time to cold call bets would be if it is an EP raise, and everyone in front of you calls, giving you enough pot odds anyway, but in this particular situation, the fold is correct.
On a related topic, I often find myself folding Axs, in LP and MP, how many limpers do i want in on this? all? none? -AA |

Re: Correct to fold Axs pre flop
I would say the more limpers the better. You're looking for the nut flush (or wheel), as your ace will be dominated. At the usual loose/passive table where 5 or more see the flop and there's not a lot of raising, I'll play Ax suited in any position. Perhaps this is a leak in my game?
