Default AQo UTG

New abolsolute 2/4 table. I raise AQo UTG and BB calls. Flop is JJ5 rainbow and he leads...

I raised he 3bet and I folded. He was a complete unknown is just a fold or a call and fold turn UI better?

I dunno. It's small enough pot to fold but an obvious enough bluff to challenge.

Looks good. I don't like calling the flop donk and folding unimproved, because if you're so obviously drawing, you don't really have the odds.

Villians will 3-bet with 88 type hands. In this case I'd just call the flop and re-eval on the turn.

I think I wait till the turn to raise/fold. This is a higher variance play but you will make most opponents fold a 5 often enough, or a PP 5--->J. This helps because you improve often enough to make the flop call (including the times you fold a lower pair) profitable.
