SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (7 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero folds.

Unless this guy has shown the consistent tendency to bluff raise the river, that's a good fold. I think he probably has 56s or 67s a lot.

And no you shouldn't check the river.

Standard. People don't checkraise bluff the river much. If they do you'll notice it soon enough.

I think that I check behind on the river. The 8h completes every possible draw.

Yes, particularly as the 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is not a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], which is, in fact, the most obvious draw.

Sorry, I misread the flop cards. You played it fine. You can't call the river raise and my guess is that he backed into a flush with probably Qx of hearts
