Default Preflop Axs and Axo

5/10, 6 max

In general, I don't see the value in raising Axs in the CO/button when there are limpers. I prefer to limp. Tell me I'm wrong and why.

Although my sample is small (~12k hands), I am showing a significant loss with A8o-A2o (I never play these hands UTG or MP, I fold if there's a limper in front of me when I'm in the CO/Button, I raise when first in from the CO/button, and I rarely complete/3-bet with these hands in the small blind unless it's HU against the BB). Is this just variance or should I consider folding these hands from the CO? Or is there something about postflop play with Axo that I'm missing? They seem to play pretty standard to me. Position rocks.

I've read this five times and I don't understand what you're saying.

I'm serious. I don't know what you just said. If my play is a lead? Do you mean if I lead the flop? I'm confused.

btw, move out of LA, unless your there for poker

'cause, for me, small ti*s are better than fake ones -- and in the midwest, we drink a lot of milk so you can have the best of both worlds, here

I think it depends on what your defining as Axs. I could see limping A6s-A2s sometimes. I don't like not raising A7s+ here. I think you're just giving up to much value from limpers and fold equity for the blinds. You should be raising the lower ones a lot too especially to isolate suckers and against tight blinds.

I will complete with some of these hands especially the higher ones. 3-bet A7o+ against real LAGs. iso raise sometimes against real costumers.

You should be playing WA/WB sometimes. i.e. just call down sometimes if you think Villain will just keep betting. Sometimes raise the turn or river instead of the flop.

Thanks for the comments. I'll try some of those lines with Axo and I'll see what happens.

oh, you're gay then you'd isolate lags AXo, open raise AXs, limps after other limper(s) with AXs
