5/10 Don't Know What I Was Thinking

Button is tight aggressive (about 25/14/2) and may go to far with some hands. In this hand I think I had a brain explosion, or maybe there is some method behind the madness. Here it is:

I have KQ in CO and RFI, button cold calls, blinds fold.

Flop: T 8 8
I bet, button raises, I 3-bet, button calls.

Turn: T
I bet, button calls.

Looks like he is not folding

River: A
I check, button checks.

Normally I would go with a flop bet/call and then a turn check/fold; but I must have thought I had some fold equity, with the turn bet being the last of mine into the pot.

HU on a flop like that if the oppoenent has any aggression at all he is raising you. Any pocket pair, any ace worth cold calling could raise you in my opinion. The fact that he goes to far with his hands may refrain from your reraise but if your image is right and the oppoenent is right I like your line of 3 betting and following through, I'd probably bet the river too if he's been able to fold on the river.
