Here\'s how you end your downswings (low content)
Win a bad beat jackpot.
Or at least be playing at a table when one's handed out. 2/4 at Paradise, multi-tabling, when in chat appears a message that the bad beat jackpot was hit on Table Suchandsuch. Immediately, I go into wiseass mode, wondering why I couldn't ever be at a table when such a hand happened. Then, my attention is quickly diverted to the second table, where $207 is being pushed toward my seat. Woohoo! Four queens, beaten by a six-high straight flush. Quads on the turn, but beaten by a one-outer on the river. And here's the kicker ... the player with QQ was still bitching about the hand ... even after he took over 3K for losing it! Didn't quite recoup everything from a 150 BB downswing at 3/6, but it's a good start. |
