flop tptk, how much to bet on turn to keep worse hands in pot?
50 NL
Hero is in SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villian is UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises to $3, BB folds, Villian calls Pot ~ $6, Flop comes: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero bets $3, Villian calls $3 Pot $12, Turn : 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets $8, Villian folds..... How much should I bet on the turn here? Lets assume he has a weak ace, hes probably not on a flush draw. Is 1/3-1/2 pot a better choice? |

Your bet is fine. You must bet enough not to give a straight or flush draw odds so you can't make a tiny bet just to get a few more bucks in the pot.

The hand went perfectly.
Dont change a thing, and don't think about how to keep people in a pot when you only have 1 pair. As is, Nice hand well played. |
