im not making the most out of PT...

Ive been using PT for a while now, i have a decent database size (150k~), and understand and use pretty much all the tabs and basic functions. As well, i am using PAHUD. yet, i think theres much more to this program that i am missing out on. how are people graphing results? how complicated is it to run sql queries? is postgreSQL beneficial to me? if anyone would be interested in helping me get started on the path to Access/postgreSQL competence, i would very much appreciate it.
