Preflop: Rookie is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP raises, 3 folds, Rookie 3-bets, MP calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Rookie bets, MP calls. Turn: (4.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Rookie checks, MP checks. River: (4.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Rookie checks, Villian(MP) is 64/33 with moderate postflop agression. I think the 3-bet is good. Flop continuation bet seems easy too. On the turn I figure I've used up most of my fold equity. He either has a weak hand that he was calling down with, a strong hand he was planning on raising the turn with or a draw. At this point I figure the made hands vastly outnumber the drawing hands so I check probably planning on calling. Good or bad? He checks behind. I don't know what to think except he probably doesn't have a made hand. River brings in the backdoor flush. Can I bet and get called by a weaker ace? (A9, A8) Are those hands possible given his line? I checked planning on calling thinking he would have bet any made hands on the turn so a river bet is either a bluff or a backdoor flush/7. Thanks for your help! Krishan |
