If I catch a flush draw on the flop should i bet out? or let it check around? In general, wether i have the ace or not. Texas hold 'em of course. thanks

Depends on a lot of things:

1) How big is the pot? (this is always question #1 in any poker decision)
2) How many opponents?
3) Preflop action?
4) What's your position? (both absolute and relative)
5) What is the nature of your opponents?
6) What do your opponents think of you?
7) Limit, NL, PL, SNG, MTT, Cash game?

Your question is way too vague.

1.)Just Blinds in the pot(blinds 50/100)
2.)6 Players into the flop
3.)Everybody limped in
4.)Middle position
5.)Tight and Aggresive
6.)Tight
7.)NL Tourney

OK. Two more questions.

1) Stack sizes?
2) How close to the money?

there's no one way to play a hand, it depends on the cards on the board are they high? are u likely to be raised? so many factors, ur question is way way too vague, its like if I flop bottom pair on A23 flop from bb, should I cr, lead call, lead reraise, so many factors are involved

stop telling me that. i knew this was gonna happen,i said,"in general". I know many factors play into the decision. i'm a well educated poker player, but i would like some outside prospective on my question. so please post me an answer, i would really appreciate it. The question is, DO YOU BET ON THE FLOP WHEN U R FOUR TO THE FLUSH? OR LET IT CHECK? LAST POSTION OR FIRST.

If the board is rags, I generally bet into the pot from late position only.

If the board has some high cards, I try to see who is gonna protect their top pair etc, and would check through.

If I have Ace high flush draw, and a Ace hits the board, I usually bet into it trying to get more money in and give the impression I am protecting against the flush draw. Hoping that someone either has lower flush draw, or has an ace with me.

All scenarios could be different, and depend on the players left to act. Sometimes I reraise others after the flop on the draw, then try to trap if I hit on turn.

Most of the time I fold draws unless broadway style, or A or K high.

Just some quick thoughts.

i said in general

If you're looking for general answers, there aren't any. Almost every poker decision is dependent on the answer to all those questions. What might be the right action given one set of answers is 100% wrong if you change something.

Post specific hands. That's the best way to learn.
