Default Watermelon

Looking through some old RGP posts I came across a reference to Watermelon. Watermelon is Hold'em with the following differences. You are dealt four hole cards followed by a round of betting and a discard of one of them. Then a flop of three communal cards comes followed by a round of betting and the discard of one hole card. Then a fourth communal card is dealt with a round of betting, which is then followed by the fifth communal card and a final round of betting. You play any five cards.

Has anyone posting here played Watermelon? for what stakes? and where?

This game has many names. It's also called Aviation (it's played at the Aviation Club in Paree) and Juarez. I think searching under those names might bring some hits, as I remember the games being discussed at one time or another.

I've played it high only in cheap ($1 & $2) pot limit and no limit games.
