TPTK against a preflop reraiser on a scary board.
I have no strong read about the player I'm up against, although it's the first I've seen him reraised in about 40 mins.

Re: TPTK against a preflop reraiser on a scary board.
with that board and a reraise preflop i think i'd fold the flop bet.
could be a weak fold, but it just looks like we're behind here. |

Re: TPTK against a preflop reraiser on a scary board.
if you're going to fold when the turn blanks, you ought to fold on the flop.
i'd probably have led the flop and folded to further aggression. |

Re: TPTK against a preflop reraiser on a scary board.
hmm, even if you're ahead of him...(if he's reraised with JJ or QQ) he could still have a redraw on those hands if he's got a spade. And you're drawing dead against AA KK AK.
I probably would have thrown out a flop bet here and tried to take it down...if it didn't work that's the last money that goes in the pot for me. I don't mind the check/call on the flop though. You could still be ahead. After a potbet on the turn you're more than likely not so good fold. |
