Default AA with monotone flop

Here's what I got on Villian1
VP$IP/PFR%/PFA Factor/WtSD%/# of hands
13.24%/4.41%/2.00/0%/68

I pegged him as a rock. This is the first flop I saw him bet and I never had the opportunity to see any of his hands. I felt uncomfortable so I laid it down, but I am not sure this is the correct line. How would you have played it? Should I've pushed? Raised more pre-flop? I am learning that my re-raises in a raised pot with callers tends to be on the small side.

Make it $16 or so preflop. I also push this flop, besides AK[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or AQ[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] villain is likely a coinflip with you and could easily fold (I suppose TT is also possible, but might be outside of villain's UTG raising standards). His likely hand is overpair with or without a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

All morning I've been thinking along the same lines. He probably had KK, QQ, or AK, with a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] mixed in there.

As I said, I am learning about my re-raises in a raised pot with caller. Please explain why I should have raised to $16 pre-flop.

Because you don't want to give him great odds to catch a set(or whatever cracks your AA)
edit: and it's alot easier to just put the rest in on the flop if alot of your stacks came in preflop
