Default Another JJ hand Entity and I talked about

An unknown limps UTG. a 23/12/1.5 raises from UTG+2 and the 70/17/1.25 MP1 instantly 3-bets. It's folded to me in the SB and I cap with red JJ. UTG folds and the aggressors call. Neither of them have a read on me. This is my second hand at the table and my account is new; my stats come from mining.

Flop: (14 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I bet, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (8.5 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I bet, UTG+2 thinks for the full twenty seconds and finally calls, MP1 folds.

River: (10.5 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Just so everyone is clear, my opinion is that jason should river a Jack next time, and it isn't close.

If anyone recommends anything other than a c/f I would really
like to learn from that response (rivering a J not withstanding...)

I think you're behind here more often than you're ahead. Check/fold for me.

I think you're beat, man. If you think he could go to the river with 9s or 8s, bet/fold. Otherwise, bend over and take it like a champ.

EDIT: AT is entirely possible too. I didn't think about that. That's even more reason to bet into this 10BB pot.

We don't bet into pots because we might be ahead of AT,
we bet because we are ahead of his range of hands enough
times to show profit. Read the betting. Read the "reads".

i may have foregone a cap here pf to see if the 23/12 craps his pants and calls or boldy caps. no big deal either way.

It's interesting, because if you had any other capping hand, I'd like your chances a lot better.

Will our sLA-A Villain think of it in these terms and fold AQ? I have my doubts. And sometimes he'll have a better hand than that.

So I guess what we're hoping for is AT. I'm thinking Villain will probably check behind and let us win, when he holds that.

I think I would check-fold, but I'm wondering if we have enough folding equity to fire a bluff.
