Party 10/20, 5-handed, folded to me in CO, I raise with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pretty bad SB who calls a lot calls. He plays ok postflop though, nothin too crazy

FLOP: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

He bets, I raise, he calls

TURN: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He bets, I call

RIVER: K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He bets, I raise...

Seems good to me if you can fold to a 3 bet.

I'm not a huge fan. I don't know, I just see him playing this way with weak kings, 99/TT/JJ, 87.... and folding hands like Q8.

i dont think the villain as described folds an 8 here. i do think op will be 3bet here a large amount of time, but if you can fold to the 3bet, then the raise works, imo.
