Default Verbal/mental weaponry in life

Prompted by another thread, I think I'd like to hear any tricks/tips/techniques use in life, love, and work

Silence is what I wanna promote. It's use is still not common, and when used right, very powerful.

examples:

In a meeting, if someone has a job to do, and the meeting is asked 'who wants to take this on?' --- only a short space of time will elapse before someone offers. YOU REMAIN SILENT == less work

Talk to a woman, make a compliment or something suggestive comes up, you may get the urge to quip or joke or move the conversation on so it doesn't seem significant, even though she seems to dig it. Nope! Silence + look into her eyes: SILENCE == connection + meaning

There's lots more examples, but you get the idea.

Sometimes, if you get the urge, just STFU and maybe the silence will work for you.

Any other tips out there?

I got a guy who gives me [censored] sometimes at work - calls me an ass-kisser -

when I'm busy and fed up I just totally ignore him and keep typing instead of quiping back. - he usually gets the hint then that I'm disgusted with him enough that he goes away and leaves me alone.

In fact, not 30 minutes ago, I told a gimmick poster (Maxwell Smart) what an ignorant [censored] waste of oxygen he was, but deleted the post - not worth getting banned for a waste of oxygen - esp. one with only five posts....LOL -
