Default Valuebetting the river on scary boards

One of my weaknesses is getting value on the river when I don't have a nut-like hand or when I have a good hand but on a scary board.
Below are two examples from today. Now that I look at it hand #1 is really ugly. He would have to have called a rather big preflop raise with something like like 33 or A3 for me to beat. but in the heat of the battle I get so scared though I realize I lose a ton of value here. I keep putting villains on the only hands that beat me. Any advice how to stop being so scared? I think it's because I recently had 3 weeks of bad beats hell and it has tilted me

Hand 2: Bet more on the turn and for God's sakes bet the river. I initially had a similar problem back when I first started playing... you'll get it.
