Default Standard JJ preflop...

villain is 25/7 over 70 hands, although this was one of the first hands during the session so no stats then.

Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Hero ($51.65)
UTG ($56.65)
MP ($25.65)
CO ($19.85)
Button ($92.65)
SB ($17.92)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50,3 folds,SB (poster) raises to $1.75, Hero raises to $5.5, UTG folds,SB raises to $14.75, hero...?

and is the reraise preflop standard, or should I just call?

I usually just call the raise from the small blind. As played, it's a fold.

Call, because in my experience people with less than half the buy in do very weird things and you are getting 2-1, if he was full stacked this is a fold. Pre flop reraise is fine for six max.

typically I just call especially if I feel that I have no fold equity against better or coinflip hands.

yeh, calling preflop seems nicer. stupid limit poker got to me

also, I just pokerstoved JJ vs TT+, AKs, AKo, AQs and I have around 45% equity. So I'm kind of committed here, or is that too wide a range for an unknown (short-stacked) sb?

I would just call the initial raise.

Maybe I've seen too many crazy hands pushed preflop but I might call his push as well, seeing as he doesn't have so much. I've seen Q7 and 99-55 pushed here a lot. Of course it's real easy to be behind here as well.

yeah, I think despite being behind alot of the time he pushes, I'm priced in due to his stack size.

25/7 is pretty damn tight for six max. Obviously not by 2p2 standards, but in general. Against tighter players, I will usually re-raise JJ to see where I stand and instamuck if they 3-bet (barring proper set-hunting odds).

Call the reraise and play strictly for set value. If the board flops all unders and he c-bets, get away. This has been a leak of mine lately.

Those are my stats, those I really don't consider myself 'tight' enough.

Call. A short stack will go all in with plenty of hands that you beat/dominate.
