Your gutshot's an 11:1. When SB leads you're only getting 3:1 for your call. If you wanna battle for 2SB's, raise the flop, take control of the hand and go for a free card. Villain might even fold to your raise.

I fold the flop here since there are too many overcards which could cripple you for such a small pot.

Turn brings the miracle card for you. Villain could just as easily be getting aggressive with Qh9h or Ax. Raise the gutshot miracle, it's why you're still in there.

I think I'd go ahead and raise. If he has an ace he's taking it to showdown, if he has hearts or a straight draw he'll call now but not on the river, and if he has a pair he might call hoping to improve.

If you call, you should plan to raise any river.

Edit: Yeah I'd probably just fold the flop as well, unless you are planning to try to steal this on the turn.

Aside from the fact that the pot odds weren't there to call on the flop, you've made your straight. I'd raise here and if he reraises, I'd keep pushing. You don't have much to define his hand, and you haven't defined yours yet either. SB could have a flush draw or top pair. Right now you have the best hand so make him pay.

Pretty awful call on the flop.

Raise the turn, you got it and probably won't SB won't believe it. Expect to be included in a few buddy lists after this one.

This wasnt a gutshot, it was open ended... the 6 or the 2 made me a straight...

Look again. It's not a GSD.

We're fine with implied odds. Hopefully SB has an A.

Wow, you guys all missed the double-gutter. Thusly i use this emoticon:

Your flop call is still a little thin, getting 3:1 on your ~5:1 shot, but HU i think the peel is ok.

You must raise the turn. You have no guarantee he will bet again on the river. If he's betting a draw, he's almost certainly not betting again unless he hits.

flop: You've got a double-gutter, easy fold with a 2SB pot. If you're not folding, then why not raise for a free card.
turn: um, raise

So you were getting 5:1 to improve on the turn with the pot giving 3:1... or did you think your (timid) call would get a free card???
