You have 2 overs to his possible middle pair and a gutshot. He had the right price to peel with 78 or QJ, but may fold to a full bet.

but surely the chances are he beats KJ and this stage,he could have any pair,an A,T,6,2,7?

first off: the question is not whether it is likely you are beaten, it is whether you are beaten more than a certain percentage of the time. this is hugely player dependant. eg against someone that will river autobet after any turn check, then the river becomes an autocall with KJ high.

anyway, im betting this turn pretty much 100% of the time as standard, and checking behind on the river if called.
