looked at this for a while.... im finding it hard to make an argument for a call even for metagame purposes when literally ANY two cards above 8 beat you. 30.6 aint that high.

i think your definitely looking for chop value (vil holds A8 or lower), which means you need to get that about 1 in 3.5 times if my maths is correct? i dont think your ever gonna get that here.

with an AF of 1.25 i dont often see him betting a weak ace in to 2 people anyway....

yeah preflop turn and flop are fine, but i fold the river.

note: i would probably have made the same mistake and called this in game, especially multitabling

i dont like check calling on this board much at all. he's unlikely to bet his weak aces or other pairs here when you check. if you check here it should be to check fold, because you're basically giving him credit for having a better hand often enough that your inital bet isn't even worth wasting. this could easily be the case on a board such as this one.

You have to bet that river. I understand you motive for checking but . . . .it's wrong.

UTG+2, CO could have all sorts of things and call down a bet and lose. Happens all the time.
