Ok, You Win?
Haven't had many interesting hands today besides this one (and it might not even be that interesting). 30-60 Online. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in early-mid position. I open raise. Everyone folds to the blinds who both call. Three to the flop of 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Check to me, I bet, the SB calls and now the BB checkraises. I call and the SB also calls. The BB seems like a solid player in my brief history with him. The turn is the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB checks, BB now checks and I bet. The SB and BB both call. The river is the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB and BB check, I bet. The SB folds and now the BB raises. Can't be good, right? How do you think BB played his hand?

Re: Ok, You Win?
Even though if he views me as a good player and knows I see him as the same, I can't call him with less than AK? So he gets the same one bet. Plus if he bets the end I may call with a hand I wouldn't bet on the end (perhaps I bluffed the turn simply bc it was obv. scare card).

Re: Ok, You Win?
Can't you have A10s A9s here?

Re: Ok, You Win?
This is an easy laydown to me. In most cases even a complete donk wouldn't try to make a bluff play at you once both A and K hits the board. He could have a straight but more likely it looks like he has 2 pairs. Fold and move on.

Can't you have A10s A9s here? [/ QUOTE ] no, if he has A9 or A10 he would've checkraise the turn once sb calls. |

Re: Ok, You Win?
Clearly you need to fold here imo but you know that already
I think that BB played his hand fine. What part exactly are you questioning about his play? I'm probably missing something here as usual lol If he just hit his straight I think going for the checkraise is definitely the best play because you have to have some piece of that board thus he is almost guaranteed that you bet it. Re: Ok, You Win?
This might be a hole of mine, but does he really have you beat here more than 92% of the time? I mean, there is no doubt that he has QJ. But, he doesn't donk this more than 8% of the time? Particularily if he knows that you are willing to fold good hands to river chk/rz.

Re: Ok, You Win?
No, he doesn't do this as a bluff 8% of the time. Maybe 1% of the time you're good here...
